Job Summary:
As a crew member for Fright Fest, one can assist with line control for a theater or a haunted house, escort a scary monster during the night or create fun memories during the day throughout Bugs Bunny Boom Town.
Job Duties:
Ensuring safe interaction between the Scare Actors and guestsAssist scare actors through the park, both on stage and backstageCrowd controlPromote the park and its shows with the utmost enthusiasm and prideWork in close proximity to potentially large crowds of peopleKeep count of guests entering a venue or haunted houseComplete daily paperworkScan tickets/passes and distribute wristbands to enter haunted housesRespond to any emergency situation in the area and maintain control until an area supervisor arrivesMaintain a clean working environment both in guest view and behind the scenesResolve guest concerns that may arise on a daily basisProvide direct feedback to the Scare-Actors if standards and rules are not followed and provide feedback to Supervisor on any behavior that may require coaching, counseling, or disciplinary/commendable action needed to help maintain and improve the performance of the groupOther duties as assigned by ManagementPay Rate: $11/hr.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be able to work operating days (Fridays-Sundays) starting September 13, 2025 – November 3, 2025, and October 31, 2025. Any conflicts must be noted at the time of job application/interviewReact well in stressful and emergency situationsPossess above-average communication skillsMust have excellent customer service skillsWork efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBe safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanorBe willing to actively engage guests.Positive attitude and work ethicHave a good attitude, a good appearance, and participate as a member of the teamRequires continuous standing, bending, and hand/eye coordination. Requires frequent walking, lifting, kneelingMust be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfacesWorking Conditions:
Working conditions include indoor, outdoor, all-weather, and all times of the day. Lighting is both natural and artificial. The use of theatrical smoke, haze, strobe lights, and low lighting is highly possible. Equipment used includes radios, microphones, and cleaning tools. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. Days and hours will vary and will include weekends, evenings, and holidays. This position will require close contact with Park Guests.
