What You'll Do Leading projects and tasks within the freight "tower" of Accounts Payable (AP). Acting as the Subject Matter Expert for the Freight Pay area. Leading Process Optimization and Break/Fix projects, working with IT, Purchasing, and others. Participate in freight initiatives to improve and enhance processes. Lead the new carrier onboarding process. Providing training and guidance on day-to-day operations of Freight Pay Acting as the AP representative in meetings, projects, and presentations with others outside of Accounts Payable. Leading training or other presentations with Cross Functional teams or outside parties (vendors). Maintaining SOX compliance.   What You'll Learn Project management skills. Basic Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree with focus in Accounting or Finance  5+ years of Finance or Accounting experience  Good working knowledge of accounting principles and SOX controls  Good working knowledge of Microsoft programs
