Are you an experienced freight forwarding professional ready to join a high-performing operations team?

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client who is looking for a driven individual to oversee their freight forwarding activities in Belfast, managing multimodal shipments and delivering outstanding service to their clients.

What You'll Do:Lead day-to-day forwarding operations (air, sea, and road) with a hands-on approachManage and motivate the operations team to meet performance targetsEnsure smooth customs clearance and regulatory complianceLiaise with carriers, agents, and suppliers to coordinate efficient transportDrive process improvements and ensure operational KPIs are metWork closely with customers to provide tailored logistics solutionsResolve escalations quickly and professionally

CriteriaPrevious experience in freight forwarding/logistics (import & export)Strong understanding of customs regulations and multimodal transportProven leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable using freight management systems and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of CDS/CHIEF systems and AEO procedures would be beneficial
