Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Freezer Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, packing, and shipping customer orders within a freezer setting while ensuring the quality and integrity of all products. Your dedication to accuracy and safety will be essential in maintaining our high standards.
ResponsibilitiesPull, assemble, and pack customer orders into master cases based on work copies in a freezer setting.Label shipping containers and stage them appropriately for shipment on racks or pallets.Record weight and counts for all outgoing orders accurately.Visually inspect packed orders for packaging defects or damage to ensure product quality.Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for damage, accuracy, and adherence to specifications, including weights and temperature requirements.Match shipments against manifests and purchase orders and enter receiving data into the system.Load outgoing shipments based on destination, schedule, and handling needs.Complete required documentation for both incoming and outgoing shipments, including returns.Inspect all shipping containers for defects or issues that could affect product integrity.Ensure safe operation of tools and power equipment used in shipping, receiving, and order assembly.Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts.Support cleanup, organization, and other duties as assigned.Collaborate with team members across departments to maintain workflow and resolve discrepancies.Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.Essential SkillsExperience with inventory and order selection, preferably within a freezer environment, for at least 6 months.Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.Proficiency in computer usage and operating an RF scanner.Skills in packaging, warehouse inventory, labeling, material handling, receiving, unloading, and loading.Must be able to understand and follow directions accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be at least 18 years old.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Physical ability to reach a minimum height of 77.5 inches.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role operates within a freezer environment with work hours from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, subject to change. The position requires wearing steel-toed boots, and all other necessary warm gear will be provided. Embrace a dynamic workplace where teamwork and attention to detail are paramount.

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
