Want to use your analytical expertise to protect Spectrum and its customers from fraud? As a Fraud Analyst, you’ll conduct thorough investigations and develop strategies that address emerging threats. Your research and documentation skills will turn complex situations into actionable improvements, making a direct impact on our fraud prevention initiatives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Investigate internal and external fraud threats impacting Spectrum and its customersCollaborate with the data science team to extract and manipulate data for recurring and ad hoc reportsDevelop and apply methodologies to solve business challenges using quantitative assessmentAnalyze data to uncover meaningful insights, identifying patterns and potential fraud or abusePartner with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance collaboration and raise awareness of investigative findingsCommunicate with legal teams, law enforcement, customers and business partners as neededClearly communicate analysis and complex concepts to non-subject matter experts and create presentations that make data easy to understand for stakeholdersProvide courtroom testimony regarding investigative findings and analysisCollaborate with a variety of external sources to identify current and emerging patterns and schemes related to fraud or prior debtWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience
2+ years reporting and analytical experience4+ years fraud protection or general data analysis experience or knowledgeExperience making complex business decisionSkills
Experienced in fraud, risk or business analysis, identifying trends and applying analytical and statistical methods to solve problemsAbility to implement processes to ensure quality, adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of dataCapability to handle investigations with increasing complexityAbility to make prompt decisions to identify complex fraud within guidelinesRelationship building skills with internal and external resourcesAble to work independently and collaboratively under strict time constraintsSkilled in PowerPoint, Excel and data visualizationAbility to monitor and coach in various fraud scenariosUp-to-date knowledge of program policies and procedures as referenced in the employee handbookFamiliarity with MicroStrategy reporting toolEffective written and verbal communicationAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentProactive and results-driven mindsetClear oral and written communication skillsStrong planning, prioritization and organizational abilitiesResearch and data analysis expertiseAdaptable and resilient behavior aligned with Spectrum valuesProficient in Microsoft Office suitePreferred Qualifications
