The Opportunity

In this Franchise Head – Anti-Infectives leadership role, you will be reporting to the BU VP and will be based in Shanghai. This position will work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, business development, and global stakeholders, to drive the commercialization of current in-line and pre-launch Anti-Infective products. You will lead the franchise strategy, ensuring alignment with patient needs and Roche’s mission to innovate in disease treatment.

What You Will Be Working On

The Franchise Head – Anti-Infectives is responsible for:

Leading the development and execution of a robust, integrated franchise strategy, including marketing, sales, and lifecycle management.

Overseeing the franchise’s P&L, budget, and resource allocation to meet or exceed financial and operational goals.

Building and managing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Driving cross-functional collaboration with global and local teams to ensure timely and effective commercialization of products.

Developing patient-centric positioning and Go-To-Market strategies to maximize business potential and patient benefits.

Ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards across all franchise activities.

Identifying and leveraging digital, omni-channel, and partnership opportunities to enhance market reach.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Life Sciences, MBA, or related field preferred.

Proven experience leading sizable commercial organizations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

Strong knowledge of business development, alliance management, and licensing activities.

Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of driving organizational change and innovation.

Experience in P&L management, strategic planning, and multi-channel marketing.

Digital, omni-channel, or public awareness campaign experience is a plus.
