Franchise Field VP
In this role, you will drive the results and growth for the franchise advisor platform by recruiting experienced advisors to join Ameriprise. This includes developing, implementing, and monitoring organic growth coaching programs directed at legacy and EAR advisors. You will also deploy resources to support recruiting strategies, drive advisor enrollment and engagement in growth coaching, hold independent contractor coaches accountable to implementing programs, provide leadership, and develop team members.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement an advisor recruitment strategy for the territoryLead experienced advisor recruiting acquisition and on-boardingCreate the strategic business plan and implement growth coaching and other programs to drive franchise advisor successCreate the strategic business plan and implement programs to drive franchisee advisor successMonitor territory business results and adjust programs accordinglyAct as resource broker role for Franchise Consultants and Franchisee Advisors to drive sustainable growthProvide leadership and direction to staff and leaders, while leveraging resources to deliver on goalsAct as the primary face of the channel and build culture and community to support franchisee retentionLeverage region resources to achieve success of franchise platform including all staff roles (i.e., Marketing, Compliance, Operations, Finance, etc.)Ensure compliance, brand standards, client service, and client satisfaction benchmarks are met


Required Qualifications

10+ years' relevant experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalentLeadership, influencing, and sales skills (e.g., ability to motivate franchisee advisors to grow their practice and sales proficiency and expertise)Professionalism in representing Ameriprise's brand to the general publicExpertise in financial services and financial planning, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Ability to coach/develop/influence others outside span of employee/leader roleAbility to manage P & L financials and drive business resultsSeries 7 or ability to obtain within 150 daysSeries 24 ability to obtain within 150 daysState securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 daysState IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 daysLife & Variable Contracts or ability to obtain within 150 days


Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalentDemonstrated competencies in leadership such as relationship building, influencing without authority, leveraging resources, developing people, and holding individuals accountableDemonstrated competencies as an advisor, new client acquisition, client satisfaction score, and plans sold GDC per planDemonstrated results in successfully coaching advisorsGood personal competencies, resilience, stress management, judgment, etc.Demonstrated track record of following compliance policies, principles, and procedures

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $100,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
