Wood is recruiting for a Framework Commercial Director to support a high-profile client across their UK projects. The Framework Commercial Director will join our Upstream team within our Operations business.
There is a requirement for hybrid working with 3 days per week being based out of either Aberdeen, Glasgow, Stockton or Staines. There will also be a requirement to visit UK based client sites as and when required.
Please note applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Role
The Framework Commercial Director (FCD) will be responsible for delivering a high standard of commercial management across four major projects within the framework, ensuring full alignment with agreed terms and conditions. In this role, you will be expected to identify and implement effective strategies to manage commercial risk, optimise cost performance, and drive positive outcomes for the business under both the Framework and associated Call Off Contracts.

This position is ideal for someone with strong NEC contract management experience who enjoys challenging conventional approaches, exploring new ways of working, and seeking opportunities for value‑adding innovation. The FCD will demonstrate sound commercial acumen and governance, confidently manage risk, and foster high‑quality stakeholder relationships built on trust and respect.
