We are seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a Sioux City based company, as a 1099 independent contractor. 

 This position is with a prominent, family-owned consumer packaged goods (CPG) company specializing in snack foods. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, driving growth and profitability for a well-known brand. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to partner with an established company and contribute directly to its continued success and market expansion.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to the leadership team. Enhance financial reporting and operational efficiencies. Audit, Accounting and Internal Controls. Play a key role in company’s use of a new ERP system, including helping define and deliver real-time KPIs that are critical to business operations and financial disclosure, ensuring compliance with best practices. Foster a collaborative and high-performing finance team by providing direct mentorship, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities. Work closely with senior leadership and management to help develop and execute a strategic plan that includes both short-term and long-term growth goals.

 

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting or another applicable program is required.  CPA or CMA, combined with an MBA or other advanced degree a plus. Must have previous experience in a CFO role.  Minimum of 3 years as CFO. 10+ years of leadership in broad-based finance/strategic business roles. CPG experience in food, a plus Proficiency in financial analytics and synthesizing results to identify trends, challenges and opportunities to make business decision. Proven track record of running and enhancing financial operations Exceptional ability to identify, recruit, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a strong team.
