Air Swift
Engineering - Detailed Engineering phase:
- Supervise and review/approve the naval architecture engineering related activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor and its subcontractors.
- Supervise and review : Design hydrodynamic activities for design conditions and verifies the compatibility of hydrodynamic design loads with other interfacing disciplines, e.g. SURF motions and load response.
- Monitor the weight of FPSO, review lightship weight distribution, COG estimates and radius of gyrations estimates.
- Supervise and review/approve the Intact and Damage Stability analysis including offloading conditions and tank inspection conditions.
- Supervise and review plans for transport of the FPSO to field as well as modules/equipment to integration yard.
- Timely review and comment engineering documents and consolidate comments related to Naval Architecture deliverables; liaise with other engineering specialist(s) and stakeholders as required.
- Supervise and review Classification approval for the FPSO.
- Provide expertise for the repair and life extension activities on the hull and review the hull construction activities are compliant with the design/classification society. Ensure technical support with MWS.
- Promptly respond to engineering clarifications, request for deviations and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and proficient approach.
- Liaise with Head office to get expertise when required in specific hydrodynamic subjects;
- Conduct studies leading to technical decision making and issue recommendation to Project Management;
- Assist the Procurement activities
- Assist the Commissioning and Operations in the preparation of their activities
- Support preparation and participate in Project technical reviews, provide answers and ensure timely implementation of the findings in his discipline;
Field Engineering - Construction phase:
- Follow-up Hull Weight Control
- Promptly respond to Field Design Change, Advance Revision Notice, Site Technical Queries by a pro-active and proficient approach
- Oversee NAVAL field engineering/yard activities including: Draft reading, lightship survey and Inclining experiment T&S calculation during construction phase Any events related to the Naval/Hydrodynamic - Oversee STRUCTURAL field engineering/yard activities related to the hull (VLCC conversion)
- Oversee MOORING field engineering/yard activities including: Unijoint installation and test at the site Mooring equipment on FPSO Finalization of the towing/hook-up procedure
