As a Finance Manager, you will:
Financial Oversight & Compliance:
Direct and manage all aspects of general accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations. Prepare and meticulously review comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders. Maintain and enhance financial accounting and reporting systems, ensuring strict adherence to US GAAP standards. Develop and implement robust internal accounting controls to safeguard assets and guarantee accurate financial reporting, conducting regular audits. Lead the efficient execution of the month-end closing process, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Oversee various financial initiatives such as internal control implementation, capital expenditure management, and contract reviews.Strategic Planning & Performance Analysis:
Spearhead the annual budgeting cycle and provide precise monthly forecasts covering shipments, revenue, cash collections, P&L, and working capital. Deliver daily reports on shipments and orders. Conduct in-depth monthly analyses (MBR) for management, focusing on key financial performance metrics like return on sales, cash-to-EBITDA ratios, and operating cash. Collaborate closely with senior business leadership to drive strategic initiatives and support overarching business objectives. Analyze key business drivers, report on trends, and interpret financial implications of strategic plans to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.Team Leadership & Operational Partnership:
Supervise, motivate, and foster the professional development of your assigned finance team, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and continuous feedback. Support Department Managers in effectively managing their respective budgets. Undertake special projects as assigned to enhance financial processes.This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a must. A CPA license and/or MBA are highly preferred. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance roles. At least 3 years in leadership positions within cross-functional financial support, including direct management responsibilities. Experience within a manufacturing environment is considered a strong advantage. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, adept at managing and analyzing large datasets from diverse systems. Possess a strong analytical foundation with a demonstrable track record of achieving results. Superior verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities. Proven capability to prioritize tasks and manage demanding workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Well-developed critical thinking and robust problem-solving skills. A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively with both senior management and operational personnel.Salary: $100,000 - $140,000/year.
