Trane Technologies is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst for its Life Science Solutions Finance team. Life Science Solutions Finance provides financial support to the Life Science Solutions enterprise across a range of disciplines, including Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning.\u00A0 The Financial Planning & Analysis Group is responsible for long-term and short-term financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and analysis, and the creation of tools to help drive decision-making. A senior financial analyst in this group reports to the Life Science Solutions Finance Leader and will manage several high profile financial responsibilities. This position plays a key role in providing analytical and business decision support to drive financial forecasts, operating budgets and strategic goals.

What you will do:
Work with SBU FP&A teams to coordinate the collection of information required to develop, analyze, and/or modify financial plans, which include the monthly forecast, annual operating plan (AOP) and long-term strategic plans (LRP)Work closely with financial systems team and drive standardization and automation in reporting tools. While also acting as a liaison between Corporate and the Sectors/Business Units \u2013 drive collaboration.Monitor and report financial performance, analyze and interpret operating results, investigate variances and unusual items; and evaluate their effect on operations.\u00A0 Report results along with recommendations for action.Develop tools for early identification of financial problems and make recommendations for resolution of problems. Design, improve and maintain financial systems and modelsParticipate in the evaluation and review of major capital investments.Prepare analyses and provide support for the quarterly earnings releases and callsCollaborate with various teams such as Investor Relations, Treasury, and Acquisitions/Divestitures to support and drive processes. \u00A0

What you will bring:
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required.Master degree preferred and/or CPA, CMAMinimum 5 + years experience in finance, accounting or related field, and strong financial analysis skills.Demonstrated ability to establish & implement processes and perform in a fast-paced environment, while also to building a positive rapport and attitude with personnel throughout the worldwide organization.Advanced Excel Skills. Knowledgeable in MS Office, Hyperion Planning/HFM knowledge.Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:
