Your role at Baxter

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the Research & Development (R&D) Finance team. Collaborating with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE), as well as in-country finance and business partners, you will contribute to monthly performance reviews, quarterly forecast processes, annual budgeting, and long-range planning. You will also have the opportunity to supply to valuable business analytics, operational improvement projects, and ad-hoc initiatives!

What you'll be doing

We collaborate with R&D and commercial markets to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, as well as completing ad-hoc reporting requests.

Crafting standard reporting packages for R&D on a regular basis.

Providing analysis, reporting services, and presentation materials for the MRR, QRR, and Forecast scenarios to support Global R&D and business.

We forecast watershed & OCOS and uploading information into the GBRD.

We compare forecasts against budgets, prior year, and other scenarios.

Maintaining the Deal Model and the GST entity level Reporting.

Performing variance analysis to explain performance differences and making recommendations for improvement.

Developing positive relationships with finance and business customers.

Providing support to finance and R&D leaders.

Loading R&D expenses for budget and Forecast adjustments into the Financial Planning system.

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Planning, or Budgeting.

Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of BI tools is helpful.
