We have an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join Emerson’s Latin America (LAM) HQ organization. As FP&A Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in consolidating and reporting financial data, conducting in-depth reviews of actuals, POR, and budget, and supporting key financial processes across the region.
Reporting to the LAM Finance Director, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders and finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking. In addition, you will lead and support ad hoc financial projects, drive process improvements, and supply to the development of long-range financial plans.
This position offers strong clarity across the Latin America region and provides a unique opportunity to influence business outcomes. You will work closely with the Americas leadership teams, gaining exposure to key strategic discussions and supplying valuable insights that support Emerson’s broader financial priorities.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Prepare, consolidate, and analyze various financial reports requested by Corporate, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Analyze P&L and Balance Sheet variances to ensure accurate financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis Prepares comprehensive and informative numerical and graphical analyses of comparative results to budget, forecast, and prior periods Lead the review and analysis of various monthly reports such as Headcount, Product Group and KOB Lead and coordinate the budget process, financial plans, and forecast processes in coordination with countries and business divisions Act as a liaison between Corporate and the Latin America world area, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Prepares presentation materials and required schedules for regular management reviews Address complex financial challenges by coordinating across multiple teams and departments, acting as a liaison between different countries and GFS (Global Financial Services) projects, supporting initiatives and continuous improvements in execution Participate in several initiatives and track progress, and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolutionWho You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
5-7 years of validated experience in financial planning and analysis
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Outstanding organization skills and high standards for quality and accuracy of work product
Excellent verbal and written skills
Ability to lead multiple projects and deadlines
Fluency in English (English used daily in communication and documentation)
Expertise with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a must.
Relevant years of accounting/finance experience commensurate with the level of this position.
MBA or CPA qualification
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Experience working across regions or with senior leadership
Exposure to strategic financial planning and cross-functional initiatives
