Job Title: FP&A ManagerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager who will play a critical role in supporting monthly close activities, financial forecasting, and re-forecast cycles. This position ensures financial accuracy and provides valuable financial oversight within a dynamic FP&A-led environment.

ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly close activities, including reviewing and guiding journal entries prepared by analysts.Collaborate with FP&A leadership on monthly forecasting and re-forecast cycles to ensure accurate and well-supported financials.Operate within an FP&A-led environment, providing financial oversight with accounting overlap.Support forecasting tied to operational performance and asset-level activity, identifying monthly risks, variances, and performance drivers.Serve as a key finance partner to Renewables Operations, supporting regionally managed teams.Communicate monthly results, forecast updates, risks, questions, and follow-ups clearly with the business.Work closely with treasury on project financing structures and compliance considerations.Support accounting-related concepts such as book value accounting, hypothetical liquidation scenarios, and joint venture financial structures.Participate in discussions involving tax considerations, including renewable tax credit strategy in partnership with tax and treasury teams.Provide financial support for large-scale renewable projects, including potential repowering initiatives.Assist with capex tracking and forecasting, financial coordination with construction and project teams, and ongoing capital improvement and asset-level investments.Essential Skills7-10 years of experience in technical accounting and FP&A.Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, accounting, and financial planning and analysis.Strong finance and accounting foundation with experience in monthly close, forecasting, reforecasting, journal entry concepts, and financial controls.Comfortable working across departments and engaging directly with operations.Personable and proactive communicator.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustry experience in renewable energy, utilities, or asset-heavy environments.General understanding of HLBV accounting and concepts.Experience with Oracle or other large ERP systems, Excel, and AS9 invoice payment system.Exposure to project financing structures, joint ventures, and capital-intensive projects.Familiarity with renewable tax credit concepts such as ITC and PTC.Work Environment

This position is 100% remote and open to candidates located in the CST, EST, or PST time zones. You will work within an FP&A organization that collaborates closely with accounting and treasury, supporting and interfacing with a team of approximately three analysts in a highly cross-functional, matrixed environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
