Description A growing client of ours, a global manufacturer, is hiring an FP& A Manager to join their team in Columbia, SC. This is an on-site position that allows for collaboration with key leaders of the organization. Essential Responsibilities: • Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's short and long-term financial and strategic plan. • Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team • Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance, and work with operating team to implement solutions. • Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results, work with business to drive solutions. • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results. • Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost-saving initiatives • Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions. • Lead preparation of monthly financial results and Monthly Operating Review presentation, including recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining of operations. Requirements Qualifications: • 5+ years of business, finance, or relevant experience, M& A exposure preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics. • High proficiency in finical modeling techniques. • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Power BI preferred. • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions. • Strong analytical and data gathering skills. • Strong quantitative and analytical competency. • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal problem-solving skills. • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently. • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. • Must possess interpersonal and facilitation skills.
