What You’ll Be Doing

The FP&A Manager acts as a finance business partner and internal consultant for one or more assigned executives. S/he also maintains focus on the annual budget process and quarterly forecasts, as well as board reporting, weekly cash flow forecasting, and other reporting for our management team and private equity ownership group. There is a heavy focus on financial analysis, process and profit improvement projects, and support of M&A activity. The FP&A Manager is a trusted resource and business partner to the FP&A Director, the CFO, and the management team.

Responsibilities Acts as a true business partner to the executive management team, helping the team to understand and improve operational performancePerforms daily, weekly, and monthly sales and profitability reporting for management and private equity partnersMaintains and improves the 13-week cash flow forecasting process, tracks and manages cash needs across multiple entitiesManages creation of monthly board reporting and forecasting, including analyzing and explaining consolidated results and preparing presentationsManages the production of detailed, bottom-up annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to support short-term and long-term strategic planningDevelops/implements monthly internal financial reporting in support of the Operations team and other members of the management teamTracks, analyzes, and drives improvements to key financial metrics and profitabilityResponds to requests for data and analysis to support business initiatives and continuous improvement projectsCreates reporting for lenders, including monthly financial results, quarterly and annual compliance calculations, and MD&A reportingHelps manage financial integration of acquired companies, including tracking synergies, creating budgets, and consolidating financial resultsOther related duties, as assigned Qualifications High proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting is a must (three statement, operating, scenario planning, etc.)Expert-level excel skills, ability to build reports and models that are scalable for a high-growth, acquisitive organizationStrong understanding of financial statements and how they interact with each otherKnowledge of budgeting/forecasting methodologies for sales, costs, and balance sheet metrics, as well as long-range strategic planningGood working knowledge of ERP systems and reporting/analysis packages like Power BI and OneStream – focus on systems design and workflow automationGood communication skills with the ability to build relationships with management teamTime management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesAnalytical and excellent problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detailProactive approach; ability and interest in taking lead on workstreams is important What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related analytical fieldMaster’s Degree preferred3+ years of experience as a Manager of FP&A or Finance6+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or related rolesExperience and ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis, operational, and KPI data into concise presentations and decision frameworkExperience in a private equity backed company is preferredExperience supporting M&A and/or sale process preferred Physical Requirements Continuously able to work in office environmentContinuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printerContinuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hoursAble to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the dayOccasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs.Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talkingOccasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouchingRarely requires climbing
