Job Description
The FP&A Manager will oversee the annual budgeting process, conduct budget versus actual analysis, and prepare product line profitability and margin analysis. This role also involves preparing the weekly cash flow model for bank reporting.
ResponsibilitiesManage the budgeting process effectively and efficiently.Prepare and present financial results, including analysis of actual versus budget and previous year figures.Assist with the forecasting process to ensure accurate future financial predictions.Oversee credit and cash collection processes to optimize cash flow.Collaborate with commercial and operations partners to develop effective financial metrics.Assist with financial and tax audits to ensure compliance.Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations for accuracy.Support analysis and tracking for capital expenditure return on investment.Prepare company consolidations of actual and forecast results.Manage intercompany processes to facilitate financial accuracy and transparency.Prepare weekly cash forecasts for bank reporting.Generate monthly financial reports for the bank.Perform other duties as assigned to support financial operations.Essential SkillsStrong analytical skills combined with a strong knowledge of accounting principles.Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).Minimum of five years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.Advanced MS Excel skills.Familiarity with financial accounting statements.Awareness of business trends.Additional Skills & QualificationsFP&A and cost accounting experience preferred.Experience collaborating with commercial, operations, and other colleagues outside of the finance department.Familiarity with general ledger and consolidation software.Accuracy and attention to detail.Work Environment
The position is located in Tecumseh, Michigan, with a travel requirement of less than 10% of total time. The work environment involves collaboration with various departments, utilizing advanced financial software and tools to enhance business operations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
