Job Description Join our dynamic team in Scandinavia as a highly motivated FP&A leas, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business. As an integral member of our finance team, you will provide expert financial analysis, focusing on key metrics such as sales, expenses, and other KPIs to drive business growth through data-driven insights. Collaborating closely with our Controller and a talented finance team, you will aid in accurate planning and reporting, shaping the success of our affiliate and strengthening our relationship with the Europe Area headquarters. We are looking for an experienced person able to lead the team on a daily basis without formal leadership responsibility Following this role, future development in AbbVie can be expected internationally such as in other Affiliates or in Europe Area Headquarter in Paris. Major Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: + Actively participate in all planning cycles for the affiliate, such as the Annual Plan, Long Range Plan (LRP), and Monthly LBE (Last Best Estimate), using analytical tools to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Sales and Performance Benchmarking: + Update actual sales and expenses, and calculate performance against benchmarks, ensuring detailed reporting and identifying significant variances. + Develop comprehensive analytical models and dashboards to provide insights across the Scandinavian region (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) and ensure country-specific insights are actionable. + Prepare and maintain files with historical and future benchmark scenarios, integrating data analysis for price and volume assessment. + Load prices and unit forecasts, incorporating inputs from local models and ensuring any required corrections are accurately captured. Distribution Margin Management: + Analyze distribution margins by comparing actuals to benchmarks, identifying deviations, and constructing tools for proposing corrections. Expense Oversight: + Review and evaluate actual expenses to identify high-level variations by GL category and department, facilitating investigation and corrective measures by departmental leaders. + Maintain benchmark and scenario files, ensuring accurate data loading into reporting systems for new forecasts. Quarter End and Monthly Reporting: + Prepare and review Quarter End Close activities, utilizing advanced reporting tools to manage accruals, contract revisions, and conduct monthly analytics-driven reporting. System Development and Support: + Develop, and support various planning and reporting systems, to create scalable and innovative tools that enhance financial reporting and decision-making capabilities. Team development: + Guide and assist junior analysts in their professional growth and daily tasks. Communication and development: Develop and strengthen our relationship with our Europe Area Teams. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred or similar qualification + Min 5 years of finance experience (FP&A, Accounting) + Strong technical skills for working in different systems. Advanced Excel skills is mandatory and your expertise in data analytics will be highly valued + Strong analytical skills with a keen interest for working with numbers and databases + Team player with excellent communication skills + Ability to work collaboratively and influence decision-making without direct authority + Fluent in English and other Scandinavian language (preferred).
