**The Opportunity**
+ We have an exciting opportunity for a **FP&A Global Commercial Manager** at our **Lake Forest, Illinois** location within our Rapid Dx Infection Disease business. This role will be focused on financial planning, analysis activities and reporting for Global Commercial Operations, Rapid Dx Infection Disease business. Responsibilities include monthly actuals reporting, Plan, LBE’s, OEM, various ad-hoc analysis and special projects. This role is a key business partner supporting the Global Commercial organization including the DVP of Global Commercial Operations.
**What You’ll Work On**
+ Serve as a key financial partner to the Global Rapid Dx Infection Disease business commercial finance team
+ Lead the Infectious Disease forecasting and planning process including rolling forecast of global income statement, and instruments.
+ Manage monthly reporting of global commercial actual performance results for full P&L and instrument placements including insightful commentary for key variance drivers by region.
+ Lead weekly sales flash consolidation, analysis and reporting to Sr. management
+ Provide clear and concise financial guidance and analysis to Sr. Management and other internal users in order to aid with the process of making business decisions.
+ Manage improvement of financial processes such as systems implantations, Power of BI tools implementation
+ Provide analysis of historical financials, future projections, variance explanations of business drivers and help identify what levers may be pulled to optimize performance and meet business goals.
+ Perform ad-hoc requests for senior management, with financial modeling and presentation support.
+ Provide leadership to assigned staff (1 direct report) by communicating and providing guidance towards achieving department objectives. Develop staff, including hiring, developing and training.
+ Involvement in strategic and cross-divisional projects and teams.
+ Travel less than 5%
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ 7 years of combined experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis (in addition to equivalent experience listed above, if applicable).
+ Ability to manage multiple planning, forecasting, and analysis activities and deadlines simultaneously.

+ Ability to analyze existing processes (transactional, financial planning, administrative, etc.), identify opportunities for improvement, and significantly reduce the amount of human capital involved in non-value add activities.
+ Ability to develop talent with direct support staff.
+ Strong verbal/communication skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment while handling multiple priorities.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ MBA preferred
+ Prior supervisory experience of exempt employees preferred.
+ Experience supporting a commercial sales team preferred.

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
