Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst will perform critical financial reporting and analysis of operational and headcount-related expenses while driving efficiency and clarity. This role will partner closely with HR, Recruiting, and Finance teams to ensure accurate workforce data, support forecasting, and improve reporting processes. The Financial Analyst will collaborate across the business to drive insights, improve financial accuracy, and support business planning cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist business on monthly rolling forecasts and annual operating plans, including variance and trend analysisMaintain and reconcile headcount and compensation data across HR and finance systems; investigate discrepancies and support commentary for salary, bonus, and related expensesTrack open roles, hiring timing, attrition, and backfills to support accurate workforce forecasting and budget inputsPrepare headcount bridges and historical reportingCollaborate with HRIS, Recruiting, and Finance Systems to improve data integrity and ensure consistency across platformsIdentify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline financial and headcount reporting processesProvide analytical support to business partners by delivering accurate data, responding to information requests, and helping interpret financial results to inform decision-makingContribute to the creation of financial reporting and analytic tools that drive operational and workforce insightsDemonstrate ethical responsibility and personal accountability in data analysis, modeling, and reporting accuracyEffectively communicate and present results of financial and workforce-related analyses to stakeholders
Location:
This role is based in our Minneapolis, MN office and requires onsite presence 2–3 days per week.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related experienceProven ability to take initiative and be proactive, with the desire to grow and learnCurious and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a creative problem-solving approach Ability to navigate and reconcile large data sets from multiple systemsAbility to develop a strong understanding of internal data sources, including accessing, analyzing, and addressing specific questions with relevant dataAdvanced computer proficiency, especially in ExcelExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple projects with strong follow through skillsWorks well in independent or team environmentsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with PowerBI or TableauExposure to planning tools such as Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, Oracle, or SAP

The annual salary range for this role is: $80,000 - $100,000. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
