As the FP&A Finance Senior Manager of Lab Equipment, you will be responsible for providing finance and business partnership to the global LE team. Leading a team of two (2) members, you will improve analytics, ensure strong financial controls, and help lead the global financial reporting for the business. In addition, you will provide valuable decision support, identify and implement operational improvement opportunities.
What You Will Do:
Partner with the Lab Equipment team in setting and delivering annual, long-range, and quarterly business plans to meet key operating and financial goalsAct as a strategic thought partner, driving growth and value creation by identifying complex financial and business risks and developing mitigation strategiesDemonstrate world-class partnership to operating partners by effectively managing and forecasting operating expenses and capital spendSupport the core operating mechanisms, such as the AOP, QBR/MBRs, and forecasts, in collaboration with the leadership team and business unit counterpartsDevelop and support analytical methods to provide exploratory and explanatory business insightsLead, hire, and develop the teamDrive continuous operational improvement and drive efficiency across the business and functionsSupport the implementation and ongoing management of centralized reporting and visualization solutionsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and timeliness while also providing an overall business impact analysisProven experience in people and project management with successful resultsAbility to work cross-functionally and manage by influence across a global organizationOutstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsTrack record of developing meaningful relationships at all levels within an organizationAbility to thrive and manage in a complex business environmentAbility to professionally present results and financial analysisSkilled in determining, measuring, and establishing associations among the metrics employed to evaluate progress on significant goalsQualifications/ Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting, or equivalent experience. MBA is preferred7+ years of finance experienceDemonstrated ability to lead and develop teamsStrong knowledge of Excel, Cognos reporting tool (or equivalent), PowerPoint, PowerBITravel, up to 15%.
