Job Overview
This position supports Engineering Management teams. The main duties include (but are not limited to) working closely with Engineering Team Members on business decisions and providing key analysis around programs/projects, CAPEX, Operating Expense spending, etc. This position could be China based.
Key responsibilities include:
Engineering Finance
• Prepare and analyze reporting & targets for Operating Expense and Project Expense spending, by cost center and nature of spending, based on coordination with Engineering Leadership
• Support preparation of quotes and CAPEX requests for projects
• Track and forecast CAPEX requests and spending to ensure compliance with spending limits
• Responsible for monthly RNO, quarterly commit forecast, annually Strat Plan and outlook
• Partner with Engineering Leadership team to drive Engineering KPIs
• Support ENG test lab including but not limit to hourly rate calculation, apply time analysis, investment assessment
• Work closely with HR for labor cost forecast to improve the forecast accuracy and seek opportunities for reporting automation
• Be responsible for ENG DOA maintenance, cost center review, Inventory / FA count
• Provide support to business partners as requested
• Provide support to FP&A as required
**Job Requirements**
+ Experience:5+ years of experience in MNC5-10 years of business experience in financial analysis and project management Knowledge:Understanding of financial drivers and relations within a manufacturing environmentGood understanding of US GAAPERP system knowledge, SAP experience is preferred
