FP&A Analyst II
13518BRJob Description:This onsite position is an analyst role working in the North American Flat-Rolled (NAFR) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Center of Excellence at our Pittsburgh Headquarters. This position will drive impact in the organization by analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting, driving cost improvements, facilitating business partnering, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision making. This is a highly visible and challenging position working with all levels within the enterprise. Responsibilities: + Drive accountability and value-creating action through robust variance analysis, leveraging a deep understanding of the manufacturing process and business drivers + Facilitate business partnering, engagement, and communication between business support groups and operations to enhance operational and financial performance + Support annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly updates + Drive process improvements that result in standardization, efficiencies, and effectiveness + Develop business cases and financial support for capital appropriations and large-scale investments + Develop analysis and presentations to support plant and/or executive leadership including proactive and insightful analysis and commentary on results + Develop executive level reporting and dashboards to facilitate business decisions and understanding Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field + 3+ years of experience in FP&A or other data/analysis intense field preferred + Well-developed financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills + Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills + Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) + Experience with Oracle ERP, OneStream, Power BI, or Python is a plus + Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and result driven action-oriented mindset + Ability to collaborate and work independently in a fast-paced environment + Travel may be required 10 – 20% + Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus + FPAC certification is preferred Auto req ID:13518BRCompany:United States Steel CorporationPosting Title:Business FP&A AnalystWork Location - City:Pittsburgh Company Overview: Since 1901, U.
