The Role

As FP&A Analyst, you’ll be central to the organisation’s financial planning process—preparing forecasts, analysing results, and providing insights that guide senior decision-making. You’ll build financial models, support month-end activities, and deliver clear reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. Working cross-functionally, you’ll play a key role in identifying risks, opportunities, and improvements that enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans in collaboration with multiple departments Analyse monthly performance against budget/forecast, highlighting variances and providing commentary Support month-end reporting through reconciliations and analysis Develop financial models to assess investments, initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders Monitor KPIs across the business, spotting trends and recommending action Drive process improvements within the finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Maintain compliance with internal controls and reporting standards

About You

ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification (or equivalent) Experience in financial planning and analysis within a commercial environment Strong Excel/modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data Excellent communication skills, able to engage both finance and non-finance colleagues Experience supporting month-end close processes Familiarity with ERP/financial systems (desirable
