Well over 100,000 tons of machine parts in high-quality ductile iron (GJS) are produced annually and delivered as raw or machined parts and complete assemblies to well-known global customers.

For the Elsterheide site, near Dresden, we are looking for:
Foundry expert for the production of components in ductile cast iron on green sand molding lines
Responsibilities: Design and optimization of production processes and procedures in the entire production process from melting shop, core shop, molding line and casting aftertreatment Analysis, definition and monitoring of manufacturing parameters along the entire production process. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and continuous improvement of product quality. Implementation and further development of lean principles, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement processes (CIP). Close collaboration with the work preparation, process optimization and quality management departments. Supervision and further development of the technologies used, in particular automatic molding lines, sand preparation and electric melting furnaces. Training and support of employees with regard to new processes and technology Requirements: Completed studies or technician in the field of foundry technology, materials technology or a comparable technical education. Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in production, work preparation or process optimization. In-depth knowledge of foundry technology, in particular in the handling of green sand molding plants and ductile cast iron. Experience with automated molding plants and/or electric melting furnaces. Good knowledge of lean principles, problem-solving techniques and CIP. Analytical thinking and structured way of working. Strong communication and team skills. High level of initiative and quality awareness. Very good knowledge of German language and common Microsoft applications
