General Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Foundry Engineer for Advanced Technology who will work on the cutting-edge semiconductor technologies development, specializing in CMOS device and process integration, chiplet product analysis, and advanced packaging solutions. This role bridges multiple technical domains, including process technology, packaging, AI, chip architectures, and system-on-chip (SoC)

In this position, you will:

Develop and implement advanced silicon capacitor technologies and integrated passive devices (IPD).

Optimize BEOL processes, including deep trench capacitors, die to die bridge, hybrid bonding, silicon capacitors, interposers, and redistribution layers (RDL).

Collaborate with the advanced packaging development team on custom interposer technology solutions.

Manage New Product Introduction (NPI), drive yield & KPI improvement for passive devices and interposer technologies w defined specs

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.  

5+ years of experience in CMOS technology development, device, process, package, or product bring-up.

Advanced Packaging and Interposer Experience:

Knowledge of BEOL processes and metallization.

Experience with silicon interposer development, including CoWoS (Chip on Wafer on Substrate), RDL (Redistribution Layer), and wafer/hybrid bonding

Familiarity with passive device development, including IPD (Integrated Passive Devices) and DTC (Deep Trench Capacitor)

Other technical Expertise (as a plus):

Strong proficiency in data analysis for both device and product performance evaluation.

Solid understanding in semiconductor device/process integration.

Proven experience in system-level KPI optimization (bandwidth, power, area efficiency).

Core Skills:

Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Effective in teamwork, with the ability to collaborate across multiple domains w good communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
