Fortiva Sales Manager - Co-op Channel

Fortiva Additives is seeking a Sales Manager.  Our continuous exploration and ecosystem of exclusive global partners is creating the next generation of unique, targeted feed additives that improve animal performance, health, and welfare. This position will focus on swine and poultry feed additive sales with our coop/dealers with manufacturing capabilities. You will be managing a team of two sales account managers.

Key responsibilities include:

Sales growth with assigned accounts and overall Fortiva additives in all channelsDevelop & execute account growth plans, including sales forecasting and producer meetings and support programsLeverage resources, cultivate relationships & grow your networks to identify opportunities to drive Additive salesContribute to the innovation and marketing pipelines by providing customer insightsMaintain a high level of proficiency and competency in nutrition, production management, and selling skills through recommended training and verified by documented sales results.Collaborate in conducting producer events that promote best practice for additive technologies; including proof field trials that demonstrate product efficacyCollaborate with Fortiva leadership to execute sales strategyManage and oversee day to day sales team activitiesProvide field assistance and sales training as neededEngage in industry-related events to generate additional awareness for Land O’Lakes Fortiva AdditivesPerforms other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned or requested

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degreePreferred Advanced Degree (MSc. Degree, DVM, or Ph.D.) with a focus in Animal Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or ImmunologyMinimum 3 years’ experience in feed additive or animal health account management in the commercial livestock industry

Experience Preferred

10+ years’ experience in feed additive or animal health account management in the commercial livestock industryUnderstanding of the impacts of additives on the health and performanceTrack record of presenting complex technology and concepts in a clear and succinct mannerPrevious supervisory experience

Self-starter and goal-oriented with ability to achieve resultsAbility to multi-task and collaborate across functional teamsStrong problem-solving abilities and a can-do attitudeContinuous learner with an innovation growth mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office programs and SalesForce

Base Salary: $120,880 - $157,560
