Join a dedicated team in the Production Department, supporting the Lead with daily production supervision.
A Day in the Life
As a Formulation Technician I - Ferentino at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will play a pivotal role in our production process. You will:
Carry out operational duties on production machinery following the instructions provided in the Batch Record and current SOPs. Complete the Batch Record and relevant departmental documentation, evaluate them, and perform reconciliation calculations as detailed in the procedure. Conduct environmental inspections in accordance with the Batch Record and current SOPs. Review the completion details to confirm that the materials align with the requirements specified in the Batch Record. Conduct cleaning on production machines at the end of production activities as specified in the Batch Record and current SOPs. Perform inspection of injectable products as detailed in the Batch Record and current SOPs. Ensure the workspace is organized at the end of production activities in line with the current SOPs. Perform a daily inspection to guarantee the continuous presence of materials required for managing the work zone.
Education: High school diploma (electric/mechanic/chemical) or equivalent experience
Experience:
Required: At least 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or in sectors with comparable quality standards (e.g., food, chemical).
Preferred
Experience with pharmaceutical packaging and production systems and machinery. Familiarity with production lines. Basic knowledge of industrial automation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Basic understanding of GMP regulations. Good manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both in a team and independently. Work in shifts.
