Formulation Technician
Job Title: Formulation Technician Job Description The Formulation Technician will be responsible for precisely weighing, measuring, and blending raw materials according to detailed formulations to ensure consistent product batches. This role operates within a manufacturing environment under strict quality control standards, requiring adherence to safety protocols and meticulous documentation of all procedures. Responsibilities + Demonstrate precision and accuracy in measuring and handling materials. + Calculate quantities and apply formulas with consistency and attention to detail. + Maintain clear, concise, and well-organized records. + Commit strongly to adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures. Essential Skills + Proficient in fundamental laboratory procedures and best practices. + Knowledge of chemistry, formulation, laboratory, and biology. + Understanding of quality control, buffering, production, and raw material testing. + Experience in batch record keeping, analytical chemistry, and compounding. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred. + 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.(open to entry level and new grads) + Lab experience is advantageous. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent communication abilities with a demonstrated capacity to train and support others. + Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Work Environment The work environment involves shifts from Friday to Sunday, 6 AM to 6:30 PM, with training scheduled Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role requires working in a laboratory setting with a focus on maintaining safety protocols and operational procedures. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
