**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring **Forming Technicians** for projects located in and around **Streamwood, IL** . This is a **first-shift** opportunity with a **pay rate of up to $30/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a **Forming Technician** and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Install, adjust, change, and align tooling and equipment to prepare for production operations. + Inspect tools and dies for imperfections or damage that may affect functionality. + Regularly test machines and equipment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. + Verify angles and dimensions of formed parts for precision. + Review materials at machines and workstations for proper quality during all phases of production. + Inspect finished workpieces, comparing them to templates or specifications, to ensure they meet required standards. + Report and prevent equipment or process malfunctions, material discrepancies, and documentation errors. + Make proper adjustments to equipment as needed. + Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Requirements:** + Proficiency in CNC controls. + Able to read and interpret blueprints and complex schematics as required to create parts. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment. + Working understanding of measurements (millimeters, centimeters, and inches). + Thorough understanding of metallic properties. + PPE and basic hand tools required. **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
