Forming Machine Operator -- 1st or 2nd shift -- Weekly Pay

Join our dynamic team as a Forming Machine Operator, where you will be responsible for setting machines to complete forming parts that meet quality standards. You will ensure efficient production operations, achieving proven job rates, and conducting part inspections. Your role will also include handling non-conforming parts by quarantining and labeling them, as well as material handling via forklift (training provided). You will be required to record job progress data, both handwritten and through the ERP system.

Responsibilities

Set machines to complete forming parts in compliance with quality standards.Ensure efficient production operations and meet proven job rates.Conduct inspections on parts to ensure quality.Manage non-conforming parts by quarantining and labeling them appropriately.Perform material handling using a forklift (training provided).Record job progress data using both handwritten methods and the ERP system.

Essential Skills

2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.6+ months experience in a machine operator position.Proficiency in welding, production welding, machine operation, and MIG welding.Familiarity with robotics, laser, and robot operations.

Work Environment

Work in a large sheet metal facility with heated and air-conditioned warehouses. Enjoy a collaborative team environment with shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Fridays when applicable, or from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday-Thursday. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, solid t-shirts in company colors, and denim jeans, with shorts permitted during hotter months.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
