Job Title: Forklift Operator - Reach

Pay Rate: 22$/hr

Location: Edmonton, AB

Job Description

This position is primarily focused on picking and involves operating a reach truck for 90% of the day, with occasional use of a sit-down counterbalance forklift. The role requires retrieving various sizes of valves from the warehouse, sometimes using a jib crane for assistance. The busiest part of the day is the afternoon, and when tasks are light, a willingness to assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse is expected.

Responsibilities

Operate a reach truck for the majority of the workday.Use a sit-down counterbalance forklift occasionally.Retrieve valves ranging from 1/4 inch to 36 inches in size from the warehouse.Utilize a jib crane when necessary to lift heavy items.Read and coordinate picking tickets with heat tracing numbers and serial numbers.Maintain attention to detail in all tasks.Assist with warehouse cleaning and organization during slower periods.

Essential Skills

Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.Proficiency in operating a reach truck.Capability to read picking tickets and manage inventory.Strong attention to detail.Reliable transportation, as public transit is not available.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working with valves or large industrial parts is advantageous.Familiarity with jib crane operations is beneficial.
