McCain Foods (Canada) is seeking a Peeler Operator to join our Fry Plant facility in Grand Falls, NB. Please note, this position is physically demanding and requires working 12-hour rotating shifts, on a 4-on 4-off basis (2 days, 2 nights). This position operates in a fast-paced, dynamic, and noisy environment that demands a high level of alertness and adaptability. The role involves regular walking, standing, bending, and lifting items up to 35 to 40lbs. Applicants should be comfortable working amid substantial sensory input and able to maintain focus and productivity during extended shifts. The ideal candidate will be dependable, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team in a busy manufacturing environment.

Supply totes, full or empty as needed to production and waste areas.Follow GMP’s.Actively look for ways to improve overall Cold Storage & Packaging operation.All other duties as assigned by Fry Plant Shift Supervisor.

Basic computer skills would be an asset.Must have good mathematical skills and complete production forms accurately and neatly.Good verbal and written communication skills.Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate “safety first” on a continual basis.
