**Truck to Truck Technician**
**Shift:** 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
**Pay:** $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
**Shift Premium:** Additional $1.75 per hour
**Summary**
The Truck to Truck (Forklift) Technician is responsible for safely moving, placing, and managing containers of waste from company facilities and direct generators using a forklift. This role ensures transportation efficiency, compliance with storage permits, and coordination between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and physical capability to handle heavy equipment and loads.
**Responsibilities**
+ Offload, palletize, and reload materials using a forklift (75% of role)
+ Coordinate loads between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations
+ Maintain compliance with storage permits and transportation efficiency
+ Dispatch transportation from hubs as needed
+ Track manifest return timelines and ensure documentation accuracy
+ Maintain Hub Database through Outlook and Hub Management systems
+ Follow all safety protocols, wear PPE, and adhere to company standards
+ Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required
**Experience:** 0–3 years in a related field
**Certifications/Licenses:** Forklift training required
**Skills & Abilities:**
+ Proficiency in Windows-based applications
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills
+ Good communication skills
+ Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Medium work: lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 25 lbs frequently
+ Frequent bending, climbing, and standing for 4–6 hours
+ Ability to operate a forklift and handle heavy equipment
+ Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
+ Capable of moving heavy containers (e.g., drums up to 800 lbs with a dolly, flex bins up to 1500 lbs with a pallet jack)
