Forklift Operator (Cycle Counter) (Front Half Nights)

Shift: This role is ONLY for Front Half Nights- Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM.

Purpose:   Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment for the daily task of RF cycle counting all zones in the distribution/operations warehouse.  Accurately process orders in and out of the warehouse.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Cycle count all zones in the distribution/operations warehouse with an RF gun. Utilizing powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately. Work in hot and cold warehouse environment. Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products. Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs). Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork. Ability to work overtime as needed. Flexibility to work in multiple areas. Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift. Basic math skills. Good communication skills Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language

 

Essential Functions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up twelve (12) hours/day able to work safely at high levels, upwards of forty (40) feet able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

High School diploma or GED equivalent required Previous experience operating a forklift Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
