Forklift Operator And Material Handler
**Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator and Material Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficient warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting both domestic and international shipping processes. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments. **Responsibilities** + Perform picking and packing tasks in a warehouse environment. + Execute product verification, packaging, and shipping of domestic and international shipments. + Schedule pickups with Freight Forwarders and common carriers and follow up as necessary. + Replenish Lean Assembly Line and carts as needed. + Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory scrapping of obsolete materials. + Maintain part, pallet, and beam labeling. + Ensure work areas are clean and organized in a 5S environment. + Provide backup and assistance to shipping and receiving positions. + Collaborate effectively with the shipping team, manufacturing, quality, management, and sales departments. + Perform additional tasks as required by the shipping team. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in picking/packing and warehouse operations. + Competency in using computers for inventory management and shipping software. + Experience in shipping and receiving processes, including international shipping. + Forklift operation skills and certification. + Ability to handle order processing, stockroom tasks, and use of pallet jacks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred experience with international shipping. + Steel-toed boots for safety compliance. + Strong ability to accurately count inventory and perform mathematical calculations. + Capability to work at a brisk pace, standing and walking throughout the shift. + Proficiency in English and strong computer skills. + Ability to pass material handler tests including basic counting, math, and inventory questions. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work environment with many perks, including a work-out room, game room, and a great cafeteria.
