Forklift Operator
Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob Description

The candidate will be responsible for general labor tasks, working with machines, and ensuring the quality and inspection of cranes. The ideal candidate should possess a basic mechanical background and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities also include loading cranes and utilizing smartphone applications like Iauditor and basic Excel.

ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment and conduct mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery.Perform function checks on cranes, including checking fluids and using tools such as a grease gun, hand tools, and a die grinder.Utilize an iPhone to upload data from monthly audits.Collaborate effectively with team members in a small, cohesive work environment.Load trucks by operating forklifts and handling necessary materials, with on-site training provided.Work outside in various weather conditions and ensure attention to detail when checking drivers' loads.Assist the quality team with general duties as needed.Essential SkillsHeavy equipment operation experience.Mechanical experience with standard and preventive maintenance in heavy equipment.Ability to work outdoors in all conditions.Proficiency in using hand tools.Basic understanding of smartphone applications and Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience is a benefit, though in-house training is available.Experience with a jockey truck is preferred.Willingness to learn and punctuality.Comfortable working with hands and outdoors.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
