Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight from vehicles and containers. Your duties will include sorting freight based on size and destination, decoding freight codes to expedite movement and tracing processes, and reconciling driver pick-up and delivery manifests. Additionally, you will label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight, maintain a clean and safe work area, and document any damaged shipments or misrouted freight.

Responsibilities

Load and unload inbound and outbound freight.Sort freight by size and destination.Decode and decipher freight coding for expedited movement.Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.Maintain cleanliness and safety of the dock area.Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
