Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in supporting our production processes. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, verifying shipments, and assisting with inventory management activities.

ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload outbound and inbound trailers, ensuring proper documentation is prepared.Support production activities by staging materials, removing finished products from the production floor, and reconciling product pull sheets with production.Ensure the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments through precise product counts, freight damage assessments, QA check-in inspections, and discrepancy reporting.Manage the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse.Stock shelves efficiently.Assist with daily inbound and outbound UPS/FedEx shipments.Conduct daily equipment checks.Essential SkillsProficiency in forklift operation.Experience in picking and packing.General labor and material handling expertise.Proficiency in unloading, shipping, and receiving.Production and order picking skills.Ability to handle heavy lifting, loading, and warehouse packing.Additional Skills & QualificationsOne year of experience in warehouse/manufacturing.Ability to certify and operate a forklift and other equipment needed to move material.Capability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to work with hay and hay-based products.Physical ability to lift 65 pounds, stoop, kneel, twist, bend, and stand for extended periods.Capability to work in extreme weather conditions.Flexible schedule with availability for some weekend hours.Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in understanding and following written and verbal instructions in English.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Employees must be comfortable working with hay or grass, and should not have grass allergies. The work schedule includes a first shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and a second shift from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. An alternative schedule is available from Monday to Thursday, with the first shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and the second shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.54 - $19.54/hr.
