Location: 170 Lisle Industrial Ave. Lexington, KY 4051

Hiring for 1st Shift, M-F, 7 am - 3 pm. Must be flexible to work either 1st or 2nd Shift.

Overtime: could work 10 hour days, instead of 8 hours. 

Pay starts at $17.44 - $20.71 / hour. 

 

Responsibilities:

Operation and maintain forklift in a safe manner.  Must be qualified to properly operate the forklift.Complete and document a forklift inspection form before start of shift and when operating a new forklift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.Pull units off of conveyor line.Load and unload trucks with the lift truck.Understand and operate the computer system to scan in and bill out. (if applicable)Properly scan load tags into computer system.(if applicable)Responsible for keeping work area clean.Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Assists other employees as necessary.Comply with the safety guidelines and safety rules provided by the company as well as exercise common sense and good judgment in performance of duties.Perform other duties as required.

 

What you need to succeed:

High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructionsAbility to read tape measure and perform basic math calculationsAbility to deal with other employees and management in a courteous, tactful and patient manner. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to safely operate lift truck.Exercise proper safety precautions.Forklift experience a plusExperience in an industrial/manufacturing environmentMust be willing to work overtime and weekends
