Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to ensure the smooth flow of goods. You will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, moving products to proper storage areas, and verifying the accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments.
Responsibilities
Operate stand up forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.Load and unload shipments and move products to designated storage areas.Verify the accuracy and condition of shipments and report any discrepancies.Pack and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with customer standards.Maintain inventory control and assist with stock rotation and physical counts.Keep equipment and work areas clean and in compliance with OSHA/MSDS safety standards.Perform minor equipment maintenance and complete required timecards and reports.Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance for smooth operations.Support facility upkeep, including pallet repair, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and light assembly.Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.Experience in inventory management and material handling.Ability to efficiently stack and store merchandise.Familiarity with RF scanners and order picking.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with shipping and receiving processes.Knowledge of general labor practices in a warehouse setting.Why Work Here?

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Caledonia, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
