Forklift Operator
**Job Title: Forklift Operator** ***Looking to hire on immediately!** **Pay: $18 an hour//Paid Weekly!!** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for moving inventory and materials across facilities, stacking and organizing large bulk items, and pulling inventory to prepare for shipment. Your role will also involve loading and unloading trucks, updating inventory activity, and ensuring all completed tasks are logged. Additionally, you will be required to note and request any damaged materials or replacements needed and follow all health and safety procedures. **Responsibilities** + Move inventory and materials across facilities. + Stack and organize large bulk items. + Pull inventory to prepare for shipment. + Load and unload trucks. + Update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks. + Note and request any damaged materials or replacements needed. + Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations. + Complete daily forklift inspections. **Essential Skills** + Forklift certification. + 2+ years of verifiable experience working with forklifts or related equipment. + Experience in inventory management. + Proficiency in material handling. + General labor skills. + Loading and unloading capabilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with sit-down forklifts. + Picking and packing. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic logistics infrastructure company that offers extensive services for some of the world's largest companies. The role is set for the busy fruit season, with a contract length extending until May. Please report to the hiring hall located just outside the security gates at the Port on your first day. Note that there is no sign at the entrance. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, DE. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
