**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a Clamp Truck Operator to work in a large indoor/outdoor warehouse complex. The primary focus will be handling large boxes and barrels of bulk tobacco. Responsibilities include stacking, wrapping, and strapping containers of tobacco, as well as loading and unloading tractor trailers with these containers. You will also be responsible for keeping track of inventory, product locations, and quantities, in addition to maintaining a clean and sanitary warehouse environment using brooms, blowers, and 'sweeper' forklifts. **Responsibilities** + Operate a clamp truck to handle large boxes and barrels of tobacco. + Stack and secure containers of tobacco by wrapping and strapping. + Load and unload tractor trailers with tobacco containers. + Maintain accurate inventory records, including product locations and quantities. + Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the warehouse using brooms, blowers, and 'sweeper' forklifts. **Essential Skills** + Experience in material handling. + Proficiency with RF scanners. + Skilled in forklift and clamp truck operation. + General labor experience, including loading and unloading trucks. + Familiarity with reach trucks, clamp forklifts, stand-up and sit-down forklifts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Coachable and willing to learn. + Punctual and reliable. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with nearly a century of history and a long-tenured team. The environment includes both indoor and outdoor areas that are non-climate controlled. The standard shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
