Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience in operating Raymond Reach trucks, Stand-up Forklift trucks (Dockstocker), and ride-on pallet jacks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading vehicles, transporting materials, and preparing loads for delivery.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment to load and unload vehicles, transport materials, and prepare loads for delivery.Pick orders, replenish, and put away pallets in a refrigerated environment (1 – 4 degrees Celsius), a frozen environment (0 - -19 degrees Celsius), and an ambient environment as determined by business needs.Verify and rotate products.Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Essential Skills

Forklift operating experience with double deep experience.Experience with inventory control and order picking.Proficiency in using RF scanners.Computer literacy, including Excel data entry.1 - 2 years of warehouse experience.Teamwork experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

In-house or AB certified.Experience with Dockstocker.Experience with power pallet jack (end rider).Strong leadership skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse environment. The facility maintains a temperature of 1 - 4 degrees Celsius, with a freezer environment at -19 degrees Celsius. You will work in a team of 6 - 10 people on the night shift from 22:30 to 07:00, Monday to Friday. Initial training will include a few shifts during the day, beginning with an orientation session on the computer followed by on-the-floor training. The pay range for this position is $22.89 - $22.89/hr.
