Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to handle loading and unloading of freight to and from vehicles and containers. This role involves sorting freight according to size and destination, reading and decoding freight codes, and reconciling driver pick-up and delivery manifests. Additionally, the Forklift Operator will be responsible for labeling, weighing, and dimensionalizing freight, as well as recording any damaged shipments or misrouted freight on applicable reports. Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the dock through performing cleanup activities is also a key part of this role.
Responsibilities
Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination.Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process.Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.Label, weigh, and dimension Alize freight.Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock.Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.Essential Skills
Experience with forklift operations.Proficiency in material handling.Inventory management skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certification as a Forklift Operator.Experience as an Equipment Operator.Ability to perform material count efficiently.Pay : 21$/hr to 24$/hr.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our shifts provide flexibility with options from Sun-Wed, Wed-Sat, and Fri-Mon. Shift timings include 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, and 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 8:30 am. Work in a well-maintained, safe environment that encourages personal development and teamwork.

This is a Contract position based out of Independence, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
