**Job Title: Forklift Operator - To expedite your application please click on this link :** https://talentassistant.aerotek.com/assistant/bookings/ebIeqc3d **Job Description** The role of a Forklift Operator involves working in either the Production or Warehouse Department, ensuring smooth operations by handling raw materials and finished products. **Responsibilities** + Unload raw materials from semi-trucks, including bins of vegetables, barrels, and palletized products such as glass, lids, labels, and film. + Load palletized finished products onto semi-trucks. + Manually depalletize shipments into smaller orders, with the heaviest items being 25 pounds. + Comfortably get on and off the forklift as needed. + Transport raw materials from the warehouse to the production lines. + Move finished products to the warehouse for staging and prepping for truck loading. + Assist production lines by using hoses and spraying production lines and barrels if needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts, either gas or electric. + Experience with unloading, loading, and depalletizing shipments. + Understanding of loading patterns and inventory processes. + Knowledge of SAP systems and RF scanners. + Forklift safety awareness. + At least 2+ years of recent forklift experience, with at least one year on a sit-down forklift. + Recent hands-on forklift experience within the last 6 months. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production, inventory management, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and order picking. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and ever-active company that operates 24/7, offering job stability and abundant overtime opportunities. Employees must be comfortable with strong odors and working in wet conditions due to vegetable juices on the floor. No cell phones are allowed inside the production area. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.71 - $22.71/hr.
