Our client, a leading logistics and warehouse management company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Pay Range: $19 - $19.50 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 7:45 am - 3:15 pm

What's the Job?

Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials within the warehouse Read and interpret shipping orders to determine quantities and transportation needs Prepare shipments for UPS and Post Service, including labeling and packaging small items Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation, including packing slips and bill of ladings Ensure safety procedures are followed and equipment is used properly

What's Needed?

Valid forklift license and ability to operate a forklift safely Forklift Certification Driver's License High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety and operational instructions Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
