**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator for a 3rd shift position in a metal distribution facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling orders and staging them for delivery, operating forklifts, and assisting with product binding. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required. **Responsibilities** + Operate sit down forklift and overhead crane to lift and move metal beams. + Pull orders and stage them for delivery. + Bind products after cutting metal according to order specifications. + Use RF scanner for inventory management and order picking. + Handle materials and unload trucks. + Participate in training programs for equipment use. **Essential Skills** + Experience operating sit down forklift. + Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing facility. + Willingness to learn and operate overhead crane. + Basic material handling skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with overhead crane is a plus. + Previous shipping and receiving experience. + Ability to use a side loader, pallet jack, and stand-up equipment. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading distributor and processor of metals in North America, known for its positive team culture and low turnover. Shifts are 8 hours long with a 30-minute paid lunch. 2nd shift runs from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, and 3rd shift runs from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, North Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
