Available Shift(s):

3rd Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM (Sunday – Thursday)

Must be able to work daily or weekend overtime as required.


Starting Wage Range: $22.95/hr with increases to $26.54/hr after becoming certified in the position

Primary Job Duties: 

Duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks, loading/unloading trailers, managing product inventories, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Loading/unloading trucks and trailers safely.Occasionally required to fill out bills of lading, change fuel tanks on the lift and complete data entry.Inspect forklift daily at the start of the shift ensuring all safety features are operational.  Complete checklist documenting inspection.Safely move materials throughout the facility.Use an RF scanner for receipts of returns or deliveries.Verify all counts, quantities, quality and descriptions of products and materials received, shipped or warehouse are what is expected.Service production lines, delivering products as requested.Properly palletize or shrink wrap a unit.Perform regular inventory and cycle counts.Safely change forklift propane tanks and/or batteries as needed.Maintaining a clean work environmentOther duties as assigned 

 

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.Must have a valid driver’s license.Must pass a written and driving test to obtain a forklift operator’s license.Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math used in the manufacturing process.Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is hot and humid in the Summer/Fall.Ability to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload.Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen. Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
